The Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 1000 is a professional cutting compound developed for the rapid removal of deep scratches, sanding marks and severe paint defects. Designed specifically to deliver high cutting performance when used with a foam polishing pad, it offers an efficient correction process without the need for more aggressive wool pad systems.

Capable of removing P1500 sanding marks, Heavy Cut Compound 1000 is well suited to heavily weathered paintwork, significant defect removal and paint restoration work. The advanced abrasive technology provides fast material removal while maintaining good control and a clean polishing process with low dust generation.

With a Menzerna Cut Rating of 9 and Gloss Rating of 3, HC1000 is intended as a true heavy correction compound and is best followed by a medium or finishing polish to maximise gloss and clarity.
