Somehow, it’s August already – and what a month it’s shaping up to be. My daughter turns 18 this month. Not sure how that happened so fast... one minute you’re tying shoelaces and packing lunchboxes, the next they’re officially an adult. Watching her step into adulthood is both surreal and an incredibly proud dad moment – although it also makes me feel slightly old!
I completed my second half marathon last month. While I wouldn’t call myself a runner (yet), there’s something addictive about pushing your limits and proving to yourself what’s possible. Definitely reminded me how important it is to set goals and just keep moving, even if progress feels slow.
