I'm very impressed with this tool. Lives up to all the reviews, very efficient and clean method for paint removal. The build quality is outstanding, feels solid and sturdy to use.
I also purchased a Karcher WD6 vacuum for dust extraction, and the powertool adapter fits onto this tool perfectly. My house likely has lead paint on the bottom layer, so I was really cautious about what method I used. The paintshaver + a vacuum has meant dust is almost completely captured, with very little tidy up to do at the end of each day.
Now, I'm just an amateur, who was foolhardy enough to paint his own house, so I can only really work weekends, and without exaggeration - this tool will save me months of time. Took two of us about 3 months of weekends to strip/fix/sand/undercoat/topcoat one side without this tool, but I've been able to knock out the next side in under a month with the Paintshaver.

Obviously can't get right into every nook and cranny with this tool, so still need to have the paint scraper + sanders on hand, but makes it a much more achievable project. I saw someone estimating about 1 hour per square metre for stripping/sanding/undercoat/topcoat, which probably feels about accurate.

Quite pricey - but when compared with the time savings - no brainer for a professional and - if you can afford it, as a DIY'er, helps offset the soul-crushing nature of trying to paint your own house.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Next day shipping is available on all domestic orders (for an additional charge). International shipping times depend on the products and destination (estimated at checkout).

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unworn/unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.
