Walcom Viscosity Cup - Universal Standard - Ford #4

Ensure continuity with every batch of paint you spray.

As an Industry standard, the Ford #4 is commonly referred to in coating specifications to ensure correct viscosity.

For use with low viscosity products, the viscosity cup ensures that each batch of paint used is the same.

The Ford #4 Nylon Viscosity Cup is filled, before using gravity to time the flow of a known volume of paint through an orifice located at the bottom of the cup. When the product stream breaks, timing stops.

To ensure that an accurate viscosity and flow rate is measured, the temperature of the cup and liquid must be maintained, as ambient temperature makes a significant difference to viscosity.
